Make a Gift of Appreciated Stocks, Bonds, and Mutual Funds
You can support Camp Fire’s work by making a gift of stock, bonds, or mutual funds. A gift of appreciated securities provides a charitable deduction for the full market value of stock and avoids capital gains taxes that would normally be due at sale. Make an IRA Charitable Rollover Gift
If you are 70 ½ or older, a donation made through your IRA will count toward your required minimum distribution and is not considered taxable income. Please ask your administrator to note your name and address in connection with the transfer or contact Kelly Peterson-Cruse, Executive Director, at 515-274-1501 or kelly@campfireiowa.org.

Legacy Giving
Legacy gifts made through a will, trust, life insurance, annuity or other financial planning vehicle allow donors the opportunity to make a meaningful gift with a lasting impact that will support Camp Fire for many generations to come. These gifts can also provide tax advantages and/or a fixed and guaranteed source of income for the donor for the rest of their life.
