Volunteering with Camp Fire Heart of Iowa is a great way to experience the joy of camp while making a difference in the communities we serve.
Volunteers fill many key roles within the Camp Fire family. Their work shines in the structure, the landscape, and the beauty that our campers thrive in. Their presence helps events go off without a hitch. Their contributions are held in the highest regard by both our staff and the community.
As a volunteer, you will receive a first-hand look at what makes the Camp Fire machine run. Experiencing camp at its most basic level, while catching a glimpse of the bigger picture: the difference your work makes for our campers.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Youth are able to volunteer for certain positions and events with parental supervision.
