Spring Break 2022 Recap
Another successful Spring Break at Camp Fire is in the books! This year, we offered eight days of camp and held an overnight camp for three days, two nights. We had a total of 63 campers attend, 220 camp days served, and 8,410 hours of camp provided. Campers participated in a variety of activities throughout the week, including team-building games, hikes, STEM projects, and lots of time outside in the Gaga pit. It isn’t a camp experience without a little Gaga ball!
When at a Camp Fire program, youth are surrounded by trained counselors who encourage, support and motivate campers to move outside their comfort zone to try new things. 94% of campers leave their program feeling supported and happy to have tried a new activity during camp. Counselors also focus on listening to their needs, assuring them they are heard and valued.
Spring Break was a perfect taste of summer camp for youth and staff. We are ready for summer camp to start and to impact even more youth this year through our multitude of summer programs. We hope to see you there!
